PORSCHE DESIGN - Luxury watches made of titanium, inspired by motorsport
In 1972, ten years after Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche designed the legendary Porsche 911, the company embarked on a new mission: to take the luxury and comfort of a Porsche beyond the automotive world. The men's watches from Porsche Design transfer the passion for precision and perfection to luxury wristwatches. They deliberately occupy a niche in the luxury segment: they are not produced for the masses, but for those who want to set new standards with innovative design. The look of the sports cars is constantly being revisited and reinterpreted. We always present the latest innovations from this top brand in our shop.
The unique Monobloc Actuator chronographs
With a strikingly large 45.5 mm diameter case, the Monobloc Actuator models are the brand's innovative eye-catchers. Technically speaking, these chronographs, which do not look like chronographs at first glance, are in the tradition of Porsche motorsport in a very special way. This is because their precise stop function is derived from the tilting gearstick of a sports car and therefore has none of the usual push-buttons on the side.
Titanium - robust and yet very light
Almost all of the watch brand's ‘timepieces’ are made of extremely robust but lightweight titanium and therefore defy all resistance and shocks. The models in the 1919 collection are no exception: their characteristic perforations on the lugs with sporty leather, rubber or titanium straps lend them a tasteful lightness and emphasise the purist design, which always makes the time readable at a glance.
